For processing of liquid and solid samples from plant, animal, algal, microbial, environmental and clinical origin, a microwave reaction system (Mulitwave Pro, Anton Paar) with rotors (64-MG-5 and 24-HVT-50) is available. Dedicated space for microwave digestion and chemical hood for opening of the microwave digested samples and filters are available for sample processing and cleaning. The ICP-MS instrument (Thermo Scientific, iCAP TQ) is capable of identification and quantification of all elements for research purposes.
